OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
If you are travelling in more than two cars there is parking on the road directly outside at the front of the apartment but it is pay and display. However, very rarely do the parking attendants actually visit the harbour area.
The train station is only a 5 / 10 minute walk from the apartment. There is also a steam train you can take from Paignton to Dartmouth which is truly a stunning journey. There are also local buses that cover all of Torbay and to Teignbridge and Exeter
The small working harbour is quaint, quiet and wonderfully tranquil spot with a real chocolate box view of the boats and Torbay with a few cafes and a great starting point for boat trips or a stroll to the beach or town centre. The world is very far away from this beautiful unspoilt corner of the beach in Paignton but the real jewel is Fairy Cove. A secluded, dog friendly, beach just a few steps beyond the Eastern jetty. A must for nature lovers or dog walkers.

Don’t miss Devon’s 18th century Paignton Harbour, a real maritime gem with a bevy of boats, a historic harbour wall plus delightful restaurants and cafes where you can sample the famous local fish or try some tapas.
The coastline is simply idyllic to explore in a kayak or on a paddleboard and there’s water skiing, wakeboarding, coasteering and scuba diving available too. Boat trips abound on the sparkling waters of South Devon’s Beautiful Bay and unforgettable cruises are available to Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth plus fishing trips, wildlife cruises and evening cruises.

Goodrington Sands – a spectacular beach with many family attractions including Splashdown Quaywest and the Seashore Centre.
The Steam Train
